Erasmusitos in Finland
These two are the coolest looking interrailers I've ever seen!
In Lapland my interrailing friends experienced a lot of new things. Only after one week they were adapting to Lapland very well, as Elisa started looking like a Sami girl and Lukas a bit like a reindeer.
the Lapland survival kit in the summer time includes only one thing, and this is it.
Besides mosqiotoes we have also nice things, like art galleries
and museums.

Then there was eating
and eating in restaurants
and my favourite, going to the ice cream bar.
And Lukas' favourite: the night train from Rovaniemi to Helsinki.
I think the 12 hour train journey is too short, because as soon as you fall asleep you are already arriving to your destination. On a rainy day you can also sleep in the hostel, go to the cinema and do the sightseeing at night time like we did in Helsinki
without forgetting to take silly pictures.
And the sunniest day is always the one you have to leave the country, but that's applies also on other trips, not just interrail.

My first video!! it's filmed on the evening in Rovaniemi when we were admiring the midnight sun by the riverside

Well, the long expected post has finally come. Thank you, Henriikka, it's a great blog, and the best thing is: there are pictures we have never seen, because you never sent yours to US!!! ;-) Well, we have them now, and they are so funny, but your comments are also just great! It's great you did it, and it makes me finish my Finland film more quickly (maybe next Christmas, okay?)

Hi sweetheart! Thanks a lot for your comment. I'm glad that you liked my new "layout". I also think it looks better now. ;) But there are still a few things missing that I would do... if I had the time. But now I don't.

Have you watched "The Notebook"? I would, if I were you. The main character is worth a look. ;) And they won the Best Kiss Award for some reason... :p

Hope you're doing well, Salla.

Muchos besitos,
Elisa
