Looking at Summer pictures
Elisa, Lukas and Enric in Lapland
The firsts thoughts..they just arrived in Rovaniemi
In the bird tower near my home, next to my university.
First thing that comes in mind about the summer is staying in the Sonka cabin.
The best part of Sonka for me was going to Sauna and swimming in freezing lake!
The second best thing: Rowing in the lake

As you see we always divided the jobs fairly and evenly..
..so Lukas got the easy jobs like rowing the boat,
and me and Elisa sacrified ourselves for the harder labour, which was sleeping.
It's funny, you know that it's one of our first times going rowing,
because we are all wearing the lifejackets. Elisa, did you see the boat was called "siesta"?
maybe because it was a nice place to sleep siestas.
Picking blueberries. Lukas was right, they were tasting much better in August,
so they were not quite ready when we were picking them.
These are the pictures one of the many many photos where
they are posing for the news paper article.
Walking in Ounasvaara, in the center of Rovaniemi.
Walking in Saariselkä, 350 kilometers up north from Rovaniemi.
Looking at reindeers on the top of Kaunispää.

-Hyviä muistoja, huomenna suihkuun-
Dancing like a idiot, it doesn't matter
it's time to unwind tonight
Night out by the Hostiles
So we were working hard this summer, I almost didn't see Laura at all but when I did we tried to think only nice relaxing things to do. Yep, we choise to go to music festival: Ilosaarirock in Joensuu for three days.
The Slackers! A ska band straight from New York city came to Finland you know I just had to go and see them
The highlight of summer was not just seeing the Slackers, but when the guy behind me said "this girl can really dance" and I assummed the comment was for me, as I didn't see anyone else dancing there.
The fireworks
What the hell is this band? I don't know..there were so many bands I don't remember them all.
This one I do: Klaus Thunder & Ukkosmaine, stole our hearts away.
We went to saw all the punk acts of course: This is Aivolävistys (brain piercing)
Hehe, first I forgot write a text here..I thought everyone will just automatically recognise: Goon! They play amazing music called ska and I love them..maybe too much.
Why are they so good? I just saw them, but I just want to see them now again.
It was a long way to go there, over 15 hours travelling, so we were absolutely dead!
The other thing that was keeping me happy, was of course playing guitar..it just got my mind of work in a second.

-Our house in the middle of the street-
I would rather not go
back to the old house
Back to the Old House by the Smiths
(the Smiths have been in my record player too often)

I have a new home and I really prefer it to our old house. Of course the first days I didn't feel it was my home, but then I got used it really quickly. We are living on the top flour appartment. I think it's really nice place to live and it's just 5 minutes from my university and it has one of the best views over the pond.

Usually I just walk around the pond when I go for walk.

We spend a lot of evenings in the balcony, looking at sunsets..when all the sky and water is pink..it's so pretty.
Our family seems a lot smaller since Pontte started in the army in July.I seem him only during weekends, but then he is so tired that he just sleeps and in the evenings goes to party. He has finished the basic training and is now trainging for a officer(or something like that) and after christmas he will commanding and training others
-I will go to work just like Captain Kirk-
Spending warm summer days indoors
writing frightening words..
Ask by the Smiths

Yep, I did spend almost all of the summer days indoors,
in this room, writing newspaper articles and I seem very
happy about it. Well I guess working has it's good and bad
sides, for example I liked the people working there..but then
again I worked often 10 hour days or sometimes more, so I
had no energy to do anything else. (that it might explain
the emptiness of my blog this summer)

My best article was of course about interrail-travellers
I got to make stories that would be typical for a magazine in
Lapland..what to you do when you meet a bear in the forest,
strange mushrooms, blueberries and what not. It was a summer
job, but I still work there sometimes when they need more journalists.
